Department of Civil disciplines of the International Institute of Economics and Law gives the priority to the in-depth study of the disciplines of economic and legal areas. The department relies on the fact that the civil discipline constitutes the fundamental basis of legal knowledge, gets the value of more than absolutely necessary, the main component of high-level training of legal professionals.
Roman law, civil law, the Russian business law, international private law, labor law, family law, housing law, arbitration and procedural law and other disciplines intended to form the deep legal knowledge in the new conditions of social and economic relations are taught at the department.
The department has highly qualified teachers - thinking, progressive, liberated from dogma and professional mediocrity, highly moral civil lawyer, successfully applying problem-IIEL search technology that can provide students with not only legal knowledge but also to create awareness of the law, to instill respect for law, society and citizens. Among them are professors Mashkin N.A Kostenko, N., Doinikov I.V, Doronin N.G, Kopylov, A., Moses E., Dmitrieva, G., Assistant Professors: Korneev I.L, V.A Galukhina and others.
Teachers of the Department cherish and multiply the glorious traditions of the national civilistics. Lecture courses are not only rich and interesting, but also show how to find the independent resolution of civil legal problems, as well as the legal incidents contained in the problem and search jobs teaching materials. Since 1999, the Department is actively involved in the publication of the "Treaty: legal and economic aspects" (published 5 issues), "The investment policy of modern Russia (economic and legal problems)," etc.
Students from other universities in Russia and other CIS and Baltic countries study the civil law sciences with the books, tutorials and workshops, written by the professors of the department (Doinikov I.V, Doronina N.G, Korneeva, I.L, Mashkin N.A.
Close scientific relations established with the Department of Business - School of Aarhus (Denmark). Discipline of the department "Labour Law", "Business Law", "Private International Law," included in a joint cooperation program.
